Setting up a TT Christmas market or bazaar

One day event in December, anyone interested?

I was wondering if there are any crafters, handworkers, artists, bakers, canners and/or jam makers who might be interested in participating in a little christmas market or bazaar for one weekend in Dec. I make quilts, sew items, jewlery, etc.. But not in huge amounts, so it doesn't make sense to go to these markets that last days or weeks.

Thought I'd ask and see if anyone would be interested in participating in a little market with Toytowners/expats in it's own venue. Also, how many people say they'd be interested in coming to something like this and possibly buying there. Or maybe there is something like this happening already and I just don't know about it.

bit late to be planning this for this year, don't you think?

No, I don't. There might be some people like me who already have some things made up and ready to sell. And of course it would be very small...probably more like a party where you could by things that other people have made.

When my son was small, one of his playgroups had something similar. A Christmas party where some people brought things... crafts, handmade jewlery and bags, and they sold them to other people who were interested in seeing the crafts and buying. So maybe using the term market or bazaar was wrong. Hopefully, I've made myself clear. It would be crazy to plan a whole Christmas Market at this time.

Is it time to start a "Pots of Evil" thread?

Maybe the stitch 'n bitchers would have some items for such an event. Elemmaciltur is always producing wonderful new creations. Excellent knitter and the latest crochet work looks amazing (check the thread for pics). Amazing talent these stitchers have...all I can do is bitch...

Isn't there a jewellry maker here as well?
I would also let my kids loose at an event like this to buy presents for the family.
