Christmas dinner at our place

So, me and Coolerking were thinking ( we do that too you know) that maybe a few of the stay behinds should get together at his place and have a jolly Xmas dinner . We were thinking along the lines of 8 people, 4 of each so I suppose that leaves 4 ladies and 2 guys to find. We will provide turkey and beer, you provide wine,beer desert etc. (Min 2 botts)
Any interest in this?
Be better, cheaper and more fun than a Crimbo Curry that´s for sure. DVDs for after the pig out are available en masse. (He sells them)

Aww - sounds like fun. One of my best christmases spent before TT in Munich was spent watching all the godfather movies over homemade lasagna.

Most civilized dinner parties include an even distribution of men and women, eurovol. Mine do as well, and I'm certainly not the hostess out to score with murder mystery meals.

So, here we are again, it´s getting near Crimbo and our Xmas Dinner is still on, anybody want to risk having fun, getting drunk etc?

Just in case people get the wrong idea . We will be having Xmas dinner about 4 or 5pm with booze flowing , good music playing , maybe afterwards watch a dvd . No stupid games like charades or playing bingo like back home.

Just a thought - why don't you join us at a restaurant on Christmas Eve and cook the turkey on Christmas Day like back home? I might be tempted to join you - I always wanted turkey on Christmas Day, but couldn't drum(stick) up any interest. Games no, but Christmas crackers there should be.

There is always a Christmas eve curry, I think the boys were doing a proper christmas dinner. I can vouch for one of them being a decent cook at least.

It´s on Christmas Day, with all the stuff that doth belongeth to it! By the way I am a most excellent cook, my turkey is a legend( no shit, really)!

Actually, their bark is much worse than their bite, and I am sure that anyone who goes will be subject to their best efforts of a "propah christmas dinnah" as they remember from "good old days". I suppose if they don't serve mushy peas it should be pretty good!

What's wrong with mushy peas? You coming DDBug? I believe the mods do sign-up sheets. I am definitely interested, but not if I'm the only one. If last year's anything to go on, it's early days yet and there will be a mad rush for places the last few days before Xmas.
