Moving to Munich, working in Haidhausen

Hi folks, and before the moderator posts the link for the general info on renting in Munich - I have seen it and read it all, however I just want to find some information from peoples expieriences. If working in Haidhausen where would be a good place to base yourself, condsidering it will just be bar work and language classes etc that I will be doing. Ideally sharing with 1/2 others. I would be willing/expecting to pay €350-€400. Is this reasonable? Where s the best place (in your opinion) to find a flat share. It would probably be for about 8months. Also, anyone know a good and reasonably priced hostel near Kellerstr? Would appreciate any info...cheers!

Finding anything in Munich for that won't be easy but you might find somewhere east of Ostbahnhof, Neu Perlach, perhaps Giesing. Otherwise look for shared accommodation. You coud find somewhere in Haidhausen for that money if you share.
