Hey guys!

I just moved to Berlin a week ago and Im keen to run a few times a week and was wondering if anyone knows of any running groups I can join. I live in the Charlottenburg district.

I would also be just as keen to find a running patner..just dont like running alone as I loose motivation haha

Im working as an Au Pair so pretty flexible as to what times I can run but I rather like running in the mornings.

Hope to hear from someone soon. Cheers.

If you are into running with a social side to it, look at this group:

This is a bit of an old thread but is anyone interested in running in berlin or are there some groups already going that I could join.

Looking to do the marathon in September and need some company for the long runs...

Hi Graham,

I've been looking for something similar for the past few months, without much success. I found this list of Lauftreffs in Berlin:

http://www.laufszene-berlin.de/lauftreff-berlin.html

and I'm going to try one out this weekend. I'd offer to join you, but I've only been running a little while and I'm still very slow with lots of rests! I'm training for the Vattenfall City-Nacht 10K on 1st August and I've never run for longer than an hour before.

Anyway, good luck and let us know how you get on with finding a running club! I will post here if the Lauftreff this weekend is any good.

Hi,

New to Berlin too and keen to try a running group, nothing too advanced quite slow! How did it go?

Thanks!

Hey nools,

The "Lauftreff" I went to was in Treptower Park and "supposedly" meets on Sundays at 9 am.

It went OK and I went back a couple of times, but the past 2 times I've been, no one has turned up, which is pretty frustrating when you've dragged yourself out of bed at some ungodly hour on a Sunday morning and cycled all the way from Friedrichshain to Treptower Park!

I've also found this group that meets in Friedrichshain, which I'm hoping to try out at some point:

I'm still really on the lookout for a running group, so post your experiences here!

Hi.
I've just moved to Berlin a month ago, and am living in P'Berg. I've been running for about a year and a half in Ireland, and have done two half marathons this year.
I'd love to find some runners to team up with to keep me going over here without my running partner! I'd be up for any morning of the week, including weekends. Anything from 8-15K. If anyone is up for joining, let me know!
