Inexpensive Art - Where to buy paintings, etc...?

I just moved to a new flat and my walls are pretty bare. I am looking for a place in Munich that sells affordable art pieces [paintings] that I can hang.

I missed the opportunity this summer on the Leopoldstrasse with all the street artists- is there a warehouse that they use to display their work during the colder months?

Thanks

Try eBay. They have lots of art for sale.

Once we finally find a location for our restaurant, we'll be hosting an art opening the first Thursday of each month promoting a different local artist. The only stipulation is they cannot have had a gallery opening yet. We want to tap into the "unkown" talent pool. With that said, any Toytowner's with a hankerin' for creation, please contact me.

Hum, this should actually be a new thread...

oh! Cheap artwork? I had a collection of black & white greeting cards in cheap Walmart frames once upon a time and people would always ask who took the pics and who my decorator was. I had about 15 quid tied up in cards & frames. The wall was painted just right to compliment the cards. B&W pics leap off of Ralph Lauren's Silver Blaze Sued paint.

Yup...we do that too! We bought a nice set of b&w postcards in Paris and London and put them in those clear frames and they look very cool and funky.

We borrow the posters hung up around town :-)
