Does anyone know where to find a pumpkin patch for picking your own pumpkins? I don't want to take my 2-year old to a table full of pumpkins on the side of the road! Thanks!

The Erlebnisgarten in Siegertsbrunn sell pumpkins every day from 3rd Sep to 31st Oct, between 15:00 - 18:00 (exc. Sunday). The pumpkins are all grown in the gardens and there are rabbits for the kids to look at and a play area.

I always go to a farm near the border of Munich & Haar. They have a great selection, and the woman who lives there can tell you all about each type. I'll try to get the exact address. To get there, when you leave town on the Wasserburgerlandstr, you turn left at the light by Hans-Stiessberger-Str., then turn right on the next major road. When the road splits, you stay right & it's right there on your right. They usually have a pumpkin on the gate post. I'll try to get the address thogh.

Went out to Siegertsbrunn yesterday. They have 65kg pumpkins there. But also normal sized "Sugar Pie" pumpkins for pie making.
