Meet up in Cologne to watch the rugby

Well, if any of yous has been waitching the rugger, it is the semi finals this weekend. I suggest beer at that Irish bar in Friesen strasse . .( Murphys?) I forget what it is called. i only was their once but had a superb evening . .how about 7pm, at the bar, this saturday . .13th Hoctober???

The Irish bar is Jamesons. Its ok, beer there is a little more expensive, and its a good idea to get there early or you will have to stand. There is that or the Irish sports bar "Corkonain" near Heumarkt. Its nice, the beer is a little cheaper but the red carpet drives me crazy.

Barney Valleley's and Connolley's round the corner from the Corkonian are far better venues to watch sport, they are both fairly small but the atmosphere is always spot on and there is plenty of banter. I enjoyed every minute of my twelve hour session in there last Saturday (well so I've been told).

You aint wrong, but the jamesons in freesen strasse is much bigger and the beer is(maybe a bit more pricey) much much better ...I vote there, as a general tuppence-in-the-ring

The only part of that I agree with is that it is, much bigger. I'm sure you'll have a great time there. One bit of advice don't run a tab or if you do, check it thoroughly.

Yep, will be in Barney's as normal. Will be a cracker if the atmosphere is as good as last week.

Well, I can honestly say that last weekend was a BELTER at jamesons! Tons of French and Argies and Saffas as well . . not to mention the whingeing Poms .. :-).
So, It will be Jamesons again for me and the other few hundred of us. Come on England!!!
