Any "older" family folk on this forum. I'm a mother of two and my husband just accepted a job in Nuremberg today so we have a lot of work ahead of us moving -- from Chicago -- finding a flat, etc. I'd love to hear any perspectives on family life in Nuremberg.
Hi Karen,
I am fairly new to Nuremberg and so far it has been great. You should check out our group, I teach the Koala group there, just started this term and love it. It will be a great way for you to meet other families. I have copied the information for you :-
Nuremberg International Children's group (NICE)
NICE is a private, non-profit group of English-speaking families in the Greater Nuremberg area with children ages 2-12. In our group native English-speaking parents of all nationalities can help their children make friends, learn to read and to write and have fun in English. The younger children sing, play, make simple crafts and listen to stories together. For our older children we provide native speaking teachers. We are looking for parents who share our commitment to become actively involved in NICE:
