It's amazing the sound you can get with two acoustic guitars and some imagination. Rodrigo y Gabriela will be at the Ampere again on Monday 26 Nov 2007. At least, let's hope so. According to their web site, they had to cancel some dates of their US tour after Gabriela had to take a rest on doctor's advice. The way she pounds that guitar, it's hardly surprising. Hopefully she'll be back in form next month.

fair play to them...when they got to dublin they were busking and they met some people who really gave them a load of chances, and they used them.
but theyre such a one trick pony. go see them, its a great show. but to see them a second or third time is a bit much. ive seen them about 5 times over the years and im in no hurry to see them again.

T'was changed to Georg Elser Hallen for some reason. Great gig. My hands are swollen from all the clapping.
The change of venue was due to the organisers wildly underestimating how many people would turn up, and the Ampere was far too small. Bit of a nuisance, arriving at Ampere and then having to trek all the way to Georg-Elser Halle. Great concert though.
