Hey!
Are there any Aussies in Munich?? I've been to Australia for 10 months after I finished school and I'm missing it like crazy :-( I met some Aussies at Oktoberfest the last few days and I realized again how much I miss this country and its people...
So would be awesome to have some Aussies around again!!!I'm so sick of Germany...
Cheers, Corinna

Are you kidding? You can't swing a Maß without hitting one here in Munich.
Most of the Aussies that I've met were at
The Arc or
Outland.

Haha so true :-) But they all left again today as Oktoberfest is over...So would be great to meet some people who are around for a little longer!

Well, that's what I meant - there are quite a few Aussies that live and work in Munich.

We're here, we just try to avoid people with the "I love Australia" attitude, because we have to explain each time we get talking why it's clearly so much better here in Munich than in Australia..

I'm too lazy to look up current numbers, but I know in 2005 there were over 750 some aussies living in Munich.
Bunch of drongo's if you ask me!

@ Coco-girl - Don't listen to that dingo Hutcho. He's got a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock if you know what I mean. He got attacked by a croc when he was a nipper down by Bull Creek and hasn't been quite right since.

On the other hand, these two wanna-be Australians will meet up with you anytime. And they can speak "Australian" better than I can.

Heeeey...it's not that I just wanna meet Aussies, I just wanna meet some new people, they don't HAVE to be from Oz

It would just be cool to have some non-Germany friends here in Munich to hang out with...

Or " True blue Aussie" ya Pommie Galahs
Stone the crows! There's more Aussies here than at a Dame Edna tribute Concert. I reckon we should all go down Yabbie Creek and shot some koalas!

There's even an Aussie bar in
Haidhausen. I don't know how many Australians you'll find there, but it always seems to be packed.

Hi there,
I am in for a night out in a nice pub. Any suggestions where? I just recently moved to Munich and would like to meet some new interesting people. Although I would be the on the German side of the German-Australian party.
Cheers,
