It's called Canada Day and it's on July 1.
Can't decide what I miss more: the turkey or the stuffing.

Thanks for the links. I always assumed the area north of my state was a semi-autonomous collective run by French speaking polar bears.
Happy Turkey day!!! I think I am gonna miss trying to take a meal at every Aunt & Uncle's house...not possible without an elastic waist band in your pants

the stuffing! with lots of gravy on it.
dammit I might just have to celebrate thanksgiving late again! I had a test this morning and I got another coming up tomorrow, missed the O'fest and thanksgiving and all for bloody education! Might have to do a turkey or chicken on Wednesday or thursday. To many damn vegetarians in the house. anyway bah humbug and a happy turkey day to you who have time to enjoy it

Already getting e-mails with the dramas from a couple family meals back home yesterday. I can definitely say 'I'm thankful' I don't have to endure that anymore, much more entertaining to just read about it the next day.

Very sad indeed. No thanksgiving is a real thanksgiving without proper turkey and stuffing.

I've got the kitchen but sadly not the time unless we were to do it the last weekend of october which kind of defeats the purpose but if anyone wants to do a very late thanksgiving let me know.

Happy Thanksgiving from a Canadian who is about to come over!
This is my last one for a while in Canada, and as you can hopefully tell from the name, my favorite!
I ate double of everything to make up for it!
