Annoying German TV adverts

As you can tell i'm bored, so thought i would ask. What are the most irritating tv adverts/commercials, a few of mine are:

The one for Super Dickmanns ( By far the most annoying ever, you really have to watch it, to know what i mean)

The Edeka one where, the guy goes in with his Daughter, buys some meat, and is baffled by the fact that the woman at the counter, just gets the exact amounts first time round.

The one for Müller Milch..."Müller oder was?" AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!

Leibniz, all of them, and any other ads that contain the words Knusprig or Lecker

Clearasil Ultra, these kind of ads deserve a thread all to themselves.

And how the hell a selling point for chocolate is "quadratisch , praktisch , gut " baffles me every time

You all do know that most of these are not German specific don't you? The Boom Chica WaaWaa one is targeted more specifically to the Brits than to Germs. Definitely rivals the Hai Karate ads of old though, but then again sex does sell and even the worst of the worst commercial will stick in your mind longer than one that is bland and too the point.

As for nerve wrecking, not sure who made it, but that damn monster garbage following the guy around town because he is redoing his bathroom is atrociously annoying.

The German version of melts in your mouth, not in your hands. For the culture, it works-simple, pragmatic and to the point.

I guess it`s a hit with your average german bolt-head!

The one I hate is the OBI D-I-Y store one that ends with a deep voice saying "OBI...Genial"

Aarrrggghhh. Genial my arse. In fact I hate any ad that uses that stupid word!

Another thing I hate in tv ads here (and which germans seem to love) are Sparschweine (piggy banks). They tend to pop up in washing powder ads.. There was one some years back that especially got on my tits, it ended with a basket of clean steaming white washing and a housewive putting pfennigs into a Sparschwein, whilst the voice-over said something like " - Umweltfreundlich und auch Geld gespart!", managing to pander to both the pfennig-fuchs mentality here as well as conscience-cleansing eco-fascism all in one go!

The mobile ringtone commericals...and in one commercial break hearing/seeing all of them 2 or 3 times. Now that gets me! I am so tired of mobile ringtones...It was just starting in the US before I left and now here I am suffering with all of them...it just makes me smoke a cig everytime a commerical comes on...not good for my health. Evil commericials!!!

The ad for chocolate...can't quite remember the label, but I think it's Lindt...where this really annoying twat keep twittering on about their wonderful chocolate..also the ad for the "conchierte" (just WHAT does that mean anyway?) ice cream...think it's Moevenpick...plus the one for Froop...where the wee girl keeps yelling. I know why I don't really watch telly that much...

Any advert for stuff you have to buy at a phamacy which ends in the ridiculously fast warning about seeking advice first from a doctor or pharmacist - one in an advert break is OK but during das Perfekte Dinner there are somethimes 4 in a row...aaarghhh

I do however have something of a soft spot for the Media Markt piggy "Ich bin nicht blod" ...

And all the other millions of ads for sweeties/kiddy milk products which should be banned after 6pm

Yep, that's actually a British ad but I don't mind it much, I do hate all other German ads shown before a film at the cinema.. arggghhh infuriatingly stupid!

I'd like to nominate the sausage ad with the spotty apprentice asking the boss "Meister, warum heissen Deutschlander eigentlich Deutschlander"

That ad must have been airing for about 5, 6, 7 years, maybe longer. Absolute torture.

Anything to do with baby stuff...nappies, food etc and anything to do with mobiless or 'flat rates'...

That ad for pesto with Steffi Graf going to "Bruno's" in the middle of the night for some pesto. And he goes and gets it out of a jar and nobody's pissed off.

I mean she goes and disturbs him in the middle of the night after his restaurant's closed so he can make her some pasta and pesto - and he's not pissed off.

He invites her in and then gets pesto out of a JAR. She's a tennis star and probably hasn't had to cook much, but don't tell me she couldn't have stayed at home to make pasta with pesto from a jar - So she's OK with going all the way to his place for that. Oh yeah - here you go, here's my own special pesto OUT OF A JAR.

As far as I'm concerned, that whole ad should end up in a big bust up, with pesto and pasta in people's hair and on the walls...

Disturbing, dangerous, creepy and trite. Clearly an argument for the creation of a german equivalent of the UK's Advertising Standards Agency, since such an agency, were it to exist already, would have given these sickening ads a xxx certificate.

But the absolute worst are those coffee commericals with the little boy and his father where the boy goes on and on about the aroma being from South america, etc. Then they giggle together. What the hell do little boys have to do with coffee?! Soooo dumb.

Definitely agree there... creepy is the word... that Got chalk guy looks a bit like a tranny...

I die a little everytime I see those.
Why do they go through every single one?

At least you didn´t have to grow up with these horrible, probably mind-numbing and definitely vomit-inducing adverts!
I think it´s safe to say that there´s never been and never will be a good or funny german ad...or at least highly improbable...I suppose it´s the "the more you hate it, the more it´s going to stick" philosoohy
