I want to move to Germany but I have the following problems:
-No Ausbildung. I didn`t finnish my English-German literature course.

I have some experience as recepcionist and barman but didnt do any recepcionist course.

I have the Certificate of proficiency in english from the british council but I think in Germany they only take on english native speakers as teachers of english.
What do you advise?

i also play guitar and would like to makeCDs. Is it easy in germany? Which cities are best for the music scene?
KofferInBerlin
What's your nationality, native language, and age (to the nearest 5 years or so)?

(Not that I can help you much, but someone else might).

Age:40,but look younger
Nationalty: Spanish

How about teaching Spanish? It might not be quite as popular as English, but the Germans sure like Spain and all things Spanish / Latin American.

dont i need a spanish teaching degree?
I have a teaching certificate but it is general. Not specifically for spanish

To teach in a school (for kids) you would probably need a teaching certificate. But teaching in a private language school (mostly adults) is not subject to specific standards. It depends on the demand and the supply of teachers. These days, most places in Germany to teach English in a private school you'd need a degree and a TEFL certificate. But that's because there are so many native speakers around looking for that kind of work. For Spanish, you could probably still get work without a degree in Spanish.

i know of a person who earns 2500 euros as a receptionist. Is that good money in Germany?
And how much do Barstaff earn there?

me in Düsseldorf
Gena
hmm... 2500 euro for a receptionist is probably gross. the taxes are about 40% which leaves him/her with about 1300 euro. This is good or not depends on which city he/she is living. Overall its an avarage salary if he/she is single.
I donno how to help u but im in the same situation nearly, my husband is german but havent lived there for 15 yrs, now that we wanna go back and he is aTravel n Tourism consultant, we donno where to settle and how to find a job. sad.gif
