How to create a poll

Can anyone point me to how I can create a poll?

There's a link underneath the topic title and description when you create a new topic. It looks a bit like this:

Poll Options Click here to manage this topic's poll

After clicking on "New Topic" and entering a topic title and description, click the link which says 'Click here to manage this topic's poll '. The following window will open.



Enter a poll title.

Then click on 'Add poll question' and further fields will be presented as follows:



Fill these in as appropriate.



It's fairly intuitive really if you take your time.

Strange I see no such options...
Does it only apply to certain sections ? I am trying to create under misc items...
PS: I use firefox...any problem with that?

I'm reliably assured that polls are the work of the devil, so you're probably better off not bothering. You of all people don't want to go down that particular road.

Isn't it only supporters who can create a poll?

Indeed.. Under the supporters info page it says:

"ability to start polls in the forum"

They are more complicated than knitting with spaghetti 'cos they make you add 2nd options you never wanted or summat. I am too thick to do a poll.

Good news for all of us, then, dino: start a topic that's actually interesting and relevant, and you might be rewarded with a temporary Supporter's subscription.
