I'm going to be ass for saying this but on Sundays there is an unlimited fajitas deal at Joe Penas all day.

Saying that, I used to live in TX and the fajitas are really decent (nothing like a small Mexican cantina of course!)

I am working until 7:30...would love to come, but not sure if I will make it at a decent time! Put me in as a maybe?! I know you are full, but worth a try!

I'm not going to be able to make it, so that's one fewer for you to squeeze onto somebody's lap.

I may need to pull out too but am not sure yet. Please could you put me on the reserve list? That way I'm not depriving any definites of a place and I'll see how it's looking nearer the time. Sorry I can't be more certain - everything's up in the air right now so I'll just have to chance it.

As exciting as the prospect of that is, we have to cancel. I've got too much on my plate at the moment.

I have to join the ever-growing group of no-shows - both Scogs and I are down with a rotten cold, my head feels liks it's full of cotton-wool, his throat feels as if he'd gargled with gravel. Spicy food is a great idea but making you all this miserable is not appealing so we will switch to recluse mode.

This cold is going around... two people in my family have it, I guess I´m next...

I'm very sorry for the late notice, but I'd have to go home instead of going to the restaurant - I have ended up with a cold and fever. I was so looking forward to this evening and there you go, I can't come any longer Hope you guys have a great time there!

oops... I must have started the cold/virus thing since I've had it as well but obviously better enough to suck down a margarita... I'll just say it wasn't me though and blame it on the Föhn.

Sorry to have to drop out at the last minute but I am in absolute agony due to a throat ache that doesn't want to go, no way I can come in this state, I'd be coughing so much I'd put everybody off their food.
And oversharing again.

Apologies babs, hope it's not going to give you too much trouble.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out - we still had a huge crowd (25 or so) and everyone seemed to really have a great time and enjoy the food. The service was EXCELLENT. The server was right there to get drinks as soon as yours finished. When she brought the food - she didnt even need to ask who had what.

Sorry to have bailed out on you early - just too tired to stay for another one. Will have to do it again.

eow, that was really very good indeed! Thanks eurobabs so much for organising as the numbers went up and down.

I didn't have high expectations of the food, was just thinking it' be a fun evening all round. But the food was in fact excellent, with some very interesting flavours (including the spicy cocoa sauce).

The cocktails were good and plentiful, the waitress was one of the friendliest, most efficient and happiest I have ever experienced in Germany. And of course special thanksto Unle Nick for pointing out the nippy sweeties section of the menu (and sorry to Allershausen and koshary for nearly killing you by leting you have a taste )

Now, just one important meeting to sleep through, and we'll have made it!
