Augustiner Tent - 27th - you were Finnish and heard us speaking Spanish, we talked about Neruda and Arto, and switched from Spanish to French. You have been here 10 years, and home it is and yet ...
I was the non-dark Mexican with the blond Argentinian, and my other colleagues. Theatre?
So why am I writing? I was intrigued and we did not finish our conversation. If by chance you read this...

Good luck mate.

Sometimes it looks as if some people are luckier than others.
But most of the time it is not so, simply some recognize a chance when it comes and do no let it pass, while others realize too late when it is already gone.
We need to learn to stay alert and miss them as little as possible. Chances are sparse and hardly come back.

I was intrigued by a chance meeting and wanted to learn more about a person - not "looking for love in all the strange places". Life is too complicated as is. But yes, it can be read like that.

Please, do not misunderstand me. I am not judging you at all. We all miss chances constantly, it is not always evident they are in front of us. I have missed myself very important ones that will
never repeat. My message was more like "Resignation my friend, what's gone it' s gone, hope for a miracle and rise your awareness... next chance might be in front of you at this very moment" .

Ah, Sinderbox, if you'd like, judge away. But for the record, I was not taking your comment with any difficulty - My face is usually this ->
Let's say I was throwing a stone up in the air to see if the wind caught it.
And since it is Friday, I'll even tell you a little about last night's event -
We were at two tables I had organized as the end of 3 days of work meetings for part of my International and Local teams - within this group, I am "watched". A lass walked by while two of us at the end of the table were catching up in rapid Spanish and she chipped in a comment - we ended talking a bit, a conversation I found intriguing and incongruent - and we were also extraterrestrials on the O-fest planet. Well, I quickly had 18 or so people looking amused at me.
And my guardian devil also let it be known that she was "en garde". Really, it would not do to take the "chance" of giving or taking a phone number of a stranger (nicely dressed too) with my staff. The local cultural attitudes for a "respectable" (?) married man were already stretching; and as I had to already deal with a minor issue with the unrequested attention of a team member, I am walking on eggs.
I'm certain to get chiding this morning from the team when I'm back.
What we have here is just a case of an unfinished conversation...

Don't be a silly fucker. It's simply that following up on this by posting on the internet looks like obsession and that ain't good.
And yes, the inital statement of "
So why am I writing? I was intrigued and we did not finish our conversation. If by chance you read this." reads like "
I think you're hot and I want to fuck you but you did a runner before I got your number.". Maybe you don't read it in that way, but if one person does then that's enough to make it look dodgy.

I just returned from the 2007 Weis'n and was a 1st time visitor. Having had a wonderful and fun time and meeting lots of people from all over the world, there is one in particular who really stood out. On Friday night, September 28th, a very nice young German gentleman started chatting with me while I was making a purchase at the wood carving vendor across from the Hippodrome tent. I did not understand him at first having learned little German but he knew English quite well and asked my name. He then proceeded to have a clip pin engraved with my name at the stand and presented it to me. I was very touched and he asked how old I was. I knew he was younger than I and said "too old for you" which I almost immediately regretted saying. He obviously was hitting on me and wanted to spend more time and I missed the opportunity. I gave him a kiss and thanked him and we said goodbye. He went off with his friends and I left with my father, who was on the trip with me. I never got his name nor took a picture with him as I had my camera. If he is out there somewhere I would like him to know that he left a very nice impression on me and I will always regret not having spent more time together. Truly a missed connection.
