The problem with your theory is that some people are looking for something out of the ordinary. Frankly a bird in a pair of jeans starts looking interesting after you have seen 50,000 dirndls.

Just the way some blokes are built. Stick us in a room with 100 Pamela Anderson lookalikes and we will get excited when Roseanne Barr walks in.

Another weekend at the Wies'n has passed. Any new observations?

I saw a bird wearing lederhosen the other day at the Weisn and she looked the schizznit. Certain chicks can pull it off and it looks wicked, but generally a dirndl is the winner.

Women look great in both - Liederhosen und Dirndl's.. I especially like the shorts on warmer days.

No problem with her boots... Those can easily be tossed in the corner of a room, just like the shorts..

Okay. I don't mind if a women wears the pants. Just as long as men don't start wearing Dirndl's.

Further case for the defense!

Problem with both of those shots, is whilst the chicks are without question hotties - it is NOT the lederhosen that is actually doing them any favours.

I fail to see how the lederhosen part of the outfit is doing ANYTHING to help the equation:

So I had a look at the Sportalm site to see what they had in terms of Lederhosen for the ladies. Unfortunately, I saw this from their new collection.

That's not a porno dirndl. It's soooooo much better than that.

isnt it weird that guys with skinny legs and no arse should avoid lederhosen, and yet girls with fat legs and a big arse should also avoid them. what a discriminatory item of clothing

Its a woman, she is wearing lederhosen, I didnt get any further in my assesment than that :-) But then you can basically make the same arguement about anything a woman is wearing.

Well, I've spent the day searching the Internet for photos to prove the contrary (and boy, what a chore that's been ). I've failed, but this is about the best I've found.



Two things: If you prefer arse to tits (or if you have a better arse than tits!), then lederhosen could be better than a dirndl.

I agree,,, the gal in the black dress is too skinny, and her arms are wayyyy too long!

My natural instinct is normally to disagree with Rubber Mr English, but I stand with him on this. The Lederhosen are actually making the attractive women pictured above look worse, and not better. Full marks to the graphics dept/cutting room for the way this has been demonstrated. The jodhpers were a good suggestion.

Matt T's picture succeeds so well because it has both that flirty, emphasize the bosom, drindl type rounded neck top AND the variation on the lederhosen, where an expanse of taut tummy with adorable belly button gets a look in, emphasized by the downward pointing crucifix. Followed by that long pathway of buttons that takes you to a very long view of her. Subtly hot picture.

So, just out of curiosity, what shoes should a woman wear with Lederhosen? Or should it be boots?

As to the footwear question. Little boots are the business. Basically your standard trachten stylee hiking boot type vibe.

Nothing to do with Lederhosen. Even if she took the Lederhosen off you'd still think she was hot.
