Oktoberfest table reservation adverts

I know it's a long shot, however.
We are two Americans looking for reservations to ANY tent on Saturday the 19th. Yeah, yeah,I know it's ridiculous, BUT late notice and plans changed.

We'd much apprecitate it!

If there are just 2 of you then you don't really need a reservation. Just show up early or be prepared to wait for a while outside but you should be able to get into a tent at some point.

What time would you suggest getting there on a Saturday then? Sometimes tents close their doors at 9am or 10am.
After that you could wait in the queue for the lunch time people to come out at 2pm or 4pm

Saturday 19th? First Saturday? With the weather like this (cold and raining)? Be there at 7am or expect not to get in any tent the whole day...

The problem with 'waiting for the lunchtime people to come out' is they're being replaced by an equal number of people who have reservations for the afternoon/evening, and some of those being turfed off their tables will hang around in the tent hoping to carry on so the tents can get even more full then.

Previous TT threads on the first Saturday and on the new rulings for 2009 (side doors only!!).
Even if you get in, your bottom needs to be on a bench before you can order. Even being perched on the end works, ask a friendly table if you can sit just to order, especially if you are attractive/speak Bavarian/both, and you should be fine.

I realize it is WAY late, but I'm hoping there have been some last minute cancellations and that someone has table space available for 4 people on opening night 9/19 at any tent. Of course, we will pay our share and buy a few drinks as well.

Conversely, we have a table for 7 reserved at the Ammer tent on Sunday 9/20, but only 5 can make it. So we have space for 2 more - If you are interested, send me a pm.

Due to ongoing madness at work we have 6 seats free for this coming Monday on a table with myself and some work colleagues.

I currently have 20 tickets to Hippodrom on Thursday 3:30-6:30 24/09 and Friday i also have 20 tickets (two tables) at Schottenhammel from 11am-4PM. At the moment i have 16 people coming on Thursday for sure and 18 on Friday to Schottenhammel. May be a possibility that i have tickets available if anyone is interested? I won't know the final head count until early next week, but if you want to touch base with me now i'll give you the heads up if they're free. Hope you don't mind sitting with 16 crazy 28-32 year old guys at a bachelor party.

If you get in a tent on time this friday you won't have a problem finding two seats...especially if your wife will wear a dirndl...

Anyone have two extra seats anywhere for Saturday October 3? This is my first Wiesn and unfortunately, I won't have the luxury of a fraulein with me
