How to say "the end of an era" in German

I need to say "the end of an era" in German. My German colleagues can't remember how to say it (without translating it word for word).
Any ideas?

Das Ende eines Zeitalters would work too.

I'm voting for "Das Ende einer Ära." For what it's worth.
