Must have seen them 10 times since they've been about. Anywhere but the Zenith and I'd be up for it. They were good last time. I was hoping for the Backstage.

Zenith's not all that bad, Beastie Boys were really good there. Though they did change the stage set halfway through and suddenly appeared in the crowd at one stage and Foos will likely be a more conventional set-up.

What a fucking amazing show!!!
It was so rocking - a real hot, grungey, sweaty rock show. Felt like I was in Portland, Or in 1995 again!
I moshed like a maniac, lost my jacket and had to go home in my sweat and beer soaked vest. Excellent

!
Hazza, I owe you your pfand...

Hazza owes me several lost hours in the bloody
Shamrock as well. Can I have them back please?
Cracking show, due to return early spring and will know then to get there early to get front wristband! Fabulous set list, not much missing, nothing flashy, just top tunes from a band that knows how to play and then some. Legs hurt from jumping, have voice like Barry White due to "singing". Happy days.
Good to hear you got back ok SH, lovely to see you as ever.

Did anyone else think Stacked Actors had already finished five minutes before it actually did?
Got to be honest and say I thought the show was rubbish. I've seen the Foos a lot of times since they've been around and that was probably the worst. Doesn't help being in the Zenith. What's with the piano and triangle shit and why do rock fans get so excited about that kind of stuff? Somehow it was all wrong. There was no 'event' feeling to it not like last year.
Won't be going to see them again for a long time. And what happened with the Weissbier? They only had enough for an hour and that Krombacher shit is bloody 'orrible.
Not the best night out I've had.

That Krombacher muck is givin' me the feckin' Montezumas. Stacked Actors was quite cool, but I'm very wary of extending songs like that after once suffering Brian Adams drag each song in a set out into 20 minute wankathons. Wanker. Davey-Boy was teetering horridly close to the Adams Zone last night, but redeems his cheesy showmanship by obviously loving what he does.
And if I'm not mistaken, not a single song from the first album. But I must admit to thoroughly enjoying it all.

really enjoyed the show but the sound was absolutely terrible. At times you couldnt hear the vocals for all the distortion. I was standing by the sounddesk so the sound should have been at its best there.
And what is the story with the Krombacher? Such a pile of muck. Its not quite as bad as Tucher helles but its getting there.

Well, I don't know about the rock and roll credentials of a triangle solo, but it certainly went someway to ridding me of one of my deamons.
When I was 10 I was "invited" to audition for a singing part in our primary school's performance of Cats - only to be given the role of first (and only) triangle in the "orchestra". For 3 consecutive nights I had to sit at the front(!) of the orchestra with my triangle. Even at such a young age I knew this to be a total public humiliation. As a result I have eschewed, for fear of further public humiliation, any chance to learn a musical instrument.
