How to say "stitches" in German
The medical ones, not knitting or sewing
dictionary said "stich" but I though I heard the receptionist say something different. Thanks.
Faden / Fäden.
Stich is correct but she might also have said Naht/Nähte.

we use faden/fäden like MT said.
If you get stitches - "Ich musste genäht werden."
When they are pulled - "Die Fäden werden gezogen."
When they are pulled - "Die Fäden werden gezogen."
