Last time I got told off on the bus for snogging,

Yeah, but it wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't been the driver.
Katrina
Darling JE, I am not you and last I heard that wasn't classed as snogging either.

Right, I am now off to my office Wiesn, abandon ye all hope!
Johnny English
too cryptic for me? was only a gag.

QUOTE (Corcaigh @ Sep 23 2007, 10:48 pm) *
I don't particularly like heteros procreating in the open and can also do without the homos trying... it's hard enough trying to explain to U-10's what the world is all about...

QUOTE (Eleanor Rigby @ Sep 24 2007, 2:36 pm) *
For the sake of clearing up this misunderstanding between parnell and I. Were the men you observed having sex? Oral sex? Snogging? It seems you did use the term procreating but that doesn't really apply in homosexual relations and then you posted an explanation that was something more akin snogging. So which was it?

@ ER, my initial statement was pretty clear (trying being the operative word)... There were various levels of "interaction" on view some of which, in my innocence, I questioned as to whether other people here thought appropriate behaviour in public. If you and parnell want to argue the finer points of how humanity functions on you go...
Owain Glyndwr
you still haven't cleared up for us whether these guys were simply snogging or or doing something else. We only tell you whether we think the behaviour is appropriate for public display if we actually know which behaviour you are talking about.

The question just begs to be asked one more time, you bring your children to a festival dedicated to the consumption of beer by the litre and you find people (regardless of orientation) kissing eachother offensive and a bad example for your children?

i agree with ER.
considering the masses of people on the first weekend, i would not recommend to anyone taking their children to the wiesn on those days.
Johnny English
Gimme a break. It is clear. Corcaigh is back peddling 'cos of the unexpected homophobic backlash. They were obviously just snogging and he is now trying to imply they were have a 3-way naked shag fest in the mud.

Storm in a teacup.

Considering that my ex had his first sexual encounter on the slope behind the tents I wouldn't be at all surprised if a certain level of the procreative process had been reached. But kissing in public should definitely still be permitted. If kids think it's gross they will say so at the top of their voices, accompanied by wretching sounds and gestures.

Hey I'm all for public displays of affection..hell fuck right there on the u-bahn if you want. I could care less which sex it is...preferably gay sex..we're just so much better at it wink.gif

What I think we should ban is public sex or kissing of ugly people. Especially straight ones! At least if you see two old ugly gay guys schnogging you know they're not in the process of creating another new ugly offspring that is likely to be an even worse amalgamation of their reject genes!

Gays are better at gay sex than straight peeps are at gay sex? I should hope so.
Dafydd
I don't care what these homosexuals get up to as long as it's not rammed down my throat. Ahem, I mean waved in my face.

Oh dear...

It was only a gag reflex
Dafydd
We did notice that there were quite a few blokes wearing what can only described as Gayderhosen...
