I have come to the conclusion that I cannot walk with heels in Munich, they always get stuck in the pavement and I end up looking stupid!!!Also I end up spending twice the money I paid for them to have them repaired!!!

I always like to see women wobbling on the cobblestones in their shoes! I get a good laugh at it. I always wear practical shoes, better for the feet.

Most women do not look sexy in high heels, unfortunately most women think they do. High heels definitely makes your butt look big. Especially when you fall on it and break it.

Wow- Eurovol- You may be the first man I have ever heard say they don't find women sexy in heels! Bless! I love the way they look and am a bit of a slave to fashion, but god it would be nice if I never had to wear them again. And to answer the question to the thread- YES! I have ruined so many expensive pairs of heels in this city! Some beyond repair...so annoying! And I do feel like an ass wobbling around town, it takes the SEXY right out of it!

I was looking for the first time we disagree, eurovol

High heels makes the butt stand up, which is normally good unless it was too big. No shoe will help in that case anyway.
Women do not look sexy in high heels when they are too high (the heels) and they look funny, trying to walk without trembling, rather than sexy.

I think some of the sidewalks are crooked as well. Though all is not so bad as long as you have a bit of thickness to the heel.

Only high heels I ever wear are the big, chunky boot kind. Can't stand the little spikey things. Comfort is everything.

Ach, you can get used to the cobbles, but always spring over the grating outside the Zara store. That stuff eats shoes, heeled or not.
Sometimes I wear heels, sometimes flats, I have no problem being short to be honest, sometimes a heel suits my look better.
Plus my highest heels are
home use only.

Women absolutely do not look sexy in high heels.
In fact most men don't give a damn what shoes a women wears. Women you love your shoes, and more power to you. But don't fool yourself that you're seducing us with your sexy shoes.

I must admit I am kinda surprised with the "no heels" brigade.
However, I think the world is spilt into two types of men. The type that likes their women "au natural"- no makeup, sensible shoes and clothes. Then there are those that like a bit of veneer on the natural!
Women just have to know who their target market is...that is assuming we do it for the men anyway...and we don“t!!

No, you do it for the other women.
Passive aggressive cat fighting and all that.
Now if you want to talk sexy and doing it for the men,
dirndl's should be worn everyday all year round.

So there I was, at home my G/F went into the bedroom and after a few minutes came out wearing her self-knitted undyed grey wooly lingerie, thick wool hand made stockings and Birkenstocks, I fell immediately to the floor, slavering and gibbering in a sexual frenzy. Then I ravished her with gusto and cleaned up using re-cycled toilet paper . Of course after I had washed out my re-cycled truck inner tube condom.
Get real, sexy heels , sexy women, got to love them all.

This is really nothing to do with Munich, but besides the production itself, one of the best things about going to an opera in the Verona amphitheater is watching the women in the pricy seats try to hobble across the cobblestones to the entrance in their high heels! Good stuff.
I don't suppose wedge heels will be in vogue for much longer, but they do solve the problem of spikes caught in the cobblestones and gratings. Chunky heels are also in this season.
