Regulations on photo equipment at the Oktoberfest

eg. are you allowed to set up a tripod in a tent?

I am thinking of going to the parade and the Weisn today to take some photos. I want to bring along my tripod - has anyone ever brought one into a tent? I've got a bad feeling about the tripod. Any advice?
