Clubnight: DJs Richie Hawtin, Magda, Marco Carola

Anyone interested in going out to the Watergate club tonight, Friday the 21st? Should be a great night, with some top-shelf DJs playing including Richie Hawtin, Magda, Marco Carola, and other artists from the M-nus label. Club opens at midnight, and I don't plan on getting there until 1 or so. Could get drinks beforehand...

M-nus nights...Superjealous! Have a banging time! Now if Villalobos would be there as well, I might have to take the evenin' flight out of Munich.

what is watergate style? Is it in berlin? Is there dresscodes?

I think I may be up for this. Where do you want to meet beforehand? Also, do you know what the cover is?

Tomorrow night the Poker Flat gang will be there, as well as Josh Wink. Looks like a double-whammy this weekend!

Watergate is in Berlin, there's no dresscode (as far as I know), and it's a techno club. No RnB, hip-hop, etc. Serious tunes for lovers of the underground sound.

Yeah it's for serious techno lovers only. If you're not a techno-head, the confined space and smoke will get to you, not to mention the music It's not a meat-market at all. I love the place. Oh, and it has the best view of any club in Berlin...right over the Spree.

Would love to return tonight, but Richie Hawtin nearly destroyed us last night! He played a banging three-hour set and reminded me, yet again, why his superstar status in the techno world is well-deserved.

Yeah Richie destroyed the place. Reminded me why I consider Techno to be the purest form of dance music in existence. Hope to catch a few more M_nus nights before my departure!!

How was the gig last night? I got back from Buda and was wiped, slept through my 12:30 AM alarm...

I never went. Was too tired last night and even woke up too late today to make the brunch. It's all Richie's fault!!!

Ended up in Berghain till stupid O Clock Sunday instead of Watergate.
