Fortnightly drinks in Heidelberg and Mannheim

Hi All

Only been to one of these, when it all started up way back last year. Since then been pretty busy, but I may be able to come along to the quiz. Where is Murphys?

I don't know about the Pub on Tuesday, but I am quite sure that I can make it out on Friday or Saturday as long as my designated driver isn't too beat up from his indoor fussball tourney. (He could sleep in the car while I party though! )

Billy - Murphys is very near the station... in front of the station on the right hand side (with you back to the station) its about 100m so you can't miss it. Hope you can make it!

JodieJo - I will try not to be too late so you arent on your own... but you know I am not good with time

At the end of last night we where talking about what we're gonna do at the weekend.

I think the conclusion was that we would do a drink tour / bar crawl of the bars in Jungbusch in Mannheim. We just need to decide which day is better for most people.

so me and ferkel put the vote up to you guys Friday or Saturday night.

my suggested start place would be Nelson in Jungbuschstrasse as its normally the quieter place for a big group meeting. I'll also check out later if there is anything on at the Pop Akademy over the weekend as it might be a good place to end at.

I think it'll nice to go to places most people have not been to before.

My vote is with Friday night at the moment but i can do either.

I actually prefer saturday, although like Jodie I will prob be able to make either.

I havent really explored the pubs in Mannheim so i have no clue But i cant refuse anything related to alcohol So just tell the place and i will try to make it Would prefer saturday though as am normally not really in a mood to go out after office

Just get me the address for the first place to plug into the GPS and I am there! (As long as hub's fussball tourney ends early enough!)

Darn, looks like i'll be missing out this pub crawl I have tennis practice this Sat... Incidentally, there's a meetup NEXT saturday in Kaiserslautern for drinks... so maybe some of you nice folks would like to come out and see how we partay in K-town.

I think Friday may be possible, but I'll need to do some last minute re-scheduling. I'm still a "maybe" for Friday There's a good chance, though, that I'll be able to catch up with you guys later (past 8pm) at one of the pubs on the crawl.

I have Ferkel's cell#, maybe I can get Jodie's, so I know where y'all will be by the time i land in Mannheim... ?

We 2 Ozzies are up for either Friday or Saturday night. Although it is more difficult on Fridays - so our vote is for Sat. Let us know where and when and we will see you all then.

the first goes around 5ish not sure exact time but paradeplatz is only a 10min walk.

I'd feel like a "bad mommy" if I left her to go party..lol. I am supposed to keep her from jumping on anything for at least the first 5 days!

The pain meds make her hyper, although a cute side-effect: she "sings" like a bird..LOL.

So I'll be home having a valium and vokda with kitty tonight!
