One of my PCs is a wiring mess and probably needs a cache for these unsightly things. Maybe it is the German rising in me but I'd like a clean area without these spagetti things. Thoughts or experiences out there?

Yes, it's not major but, I've always hated wire.

Oh boy, you have evidently never been in my place. Your have almost no cable presence in comparison.

You can get a few of those plastic straps which are used to tie cables. At least you will have one bundle of cables instead of spaghetti.
Also if you would like you could buy in Ikea one of those cable collectors. It's like a soft plastic tube which you wrap around your cables and then close it with several of those cable-ties. I have something liket that for my tv.

Not an option for the screen and sound, it also serves as a point for movies. But thanks.

could you place all the cables under the table? Possibly drillling a small hole that the cables then drop under the table with the powerbar and then either use twist ties (from sandwich bags) or those plastic tie thingies. My dad uses elastics to bind the cables up together, then he places them under the tables with that stuff you get at hardware shops to cover the cables up- its plastic strips in different colours to match the decor.

Why don't you use the black plastic cable organizers that you have there?

When it pisses you off, you chuck the whole thing out the window. Wires and all. Problem solved. wink.gif

If you cannot put them under the table, buy a pretty box that you can put them all into (you may have to cut holes in the box), and put something pretty on top of the box.

Have to say that the Mac is quite beautiful and better than this mess. Should have thought of it first. But my network would be hell. Mixed PC/Macs - no th
