HP Sauce - Germany

Reading from my bottle of HP sauce...Everything goes well with HP sauce. It's great on your favourite foods including sausages, bacon sandwiches and chips. Wny not try on snacks like jacket potatoes or baked beans.

I can't help thinking that your average central German would be rather disgusted with the description of "your favourite foods". Do you think it's food heaven or do our German friends have a point?

I am from America & I have found that I love the stuff. HP is wonderful with baked tofu or any form of potatoes.

I used to rely on my mother to bring over some bottles. But she now brings over some brown sauce from Morrisons. Evidently HP closed down the factory in the UK and moved it to Holland and my Mum's not to happy with that.

We have HP sauce at like all grocery stores here... Never tried it though. Makes me think of all you British TTers every time I walk past it.

Can't have a bacon butty without it.Done in Edeka,Tengelmanns and Kaufland

Don't see the stuff in these parts or Colman's English Mustard another favourite of mine.

HP is wonderful...if Angela Merkel passed a law saying that all Bratwurst stands must offer this fine condiment along with Senf and Ketchup, I would stay here forever and ever.

I'm not a big fan of typical German mustard.
