Rugby: Portugal vs. All Blacks

Have to admit there was no way portugal was ever going to win this but got some early points via a nice drop goal and now have a try...playing with some guts here...new addition to the 6 nations to make it 7 nations?

More spirit and balls than England showed last night.

Would be good to expand the game in Europe more.

i'm sure i read an article about swopping scotland for portugal in the 6 nations and whatever the 2nd tier european rugby comp is. that was back in the day when things were even worse for scotland though, but still an interesting read.

maybe one day but i imagine romania deserve it more? (to be in 6/7 nations i mean) wasnt there argument for them coming in ahead of italy years ago?

Yup there was but i think it was lack of finance on the part of the Romanian RFU that scuppered their bid iirc?

Italy have come on big style, whats wrong with putting Romania and Portugal in? the more Northern teams who can play well has to be good for the sport
