Gday everyone,
Can anyone recommend a cafe in Dresden (around HBF, Pragerstr. or Altstadt) that has free wifi?
Preferably somewhere nice and and comfortable where I can get a nice cup of coffee or a beer and that isn't too loud.
Cheers in advance for your replies

The only free wifi I know of is in Neustadt... Cafe Europa. Coffee, food, beer, open all night.

You can take the 7 or 8 from Altstadt and get off at the Bischofsweg stop, its right there (Königsbrücker Str. 68).

ahhh, shit! where were you when I was paying a boatload at the Internet Cafe??? My connection sucks in Streisen, so I have to take my laptop and my wireless card to Altmarkt and sit on the benches there just to Skype my friends in the US!
Thanks!

Hey, did you know Marche in the Hauptbahnhof also has free WIFI? It is a bit tetchy, but I've heard it works. Em

I just got into town so Hello everyone and had to use the Marche. Works when I was there and its free. Of course I had T-Com hotspots as part of my DSL package from Berlin but Marche is on its own system.

Neudstadt cafe also I think and Cafe Europa I believe was also on the T-com list. But T-com is expensive if your not on unlimited.

SCIBB- The bagel place at Postplatz has free Wifi. I've used it a lot lately and it's pretty good.

ok Neustadt Cafe is Fon or some other provider. So if you want a T-com hot spot save your time. However theirs is free from my understanding but I found it a waste of time as it times out often due to the network noise from everyone else around that area.

Cafe Kontinental is good for T-com but not free.
