would have to be Craig Gordon, some of the saves he pulled off tonight were genius. Hartley played a blinder too!
Let's stop off at Wembley on the way home !!

Hats off to the guys, an excellent result. It's a shame the Ukraine couldn't hold on to the draw with Italy or it would have been all the sweeter. We still have a few really tough games ahead, but here's hoping there will be a mass descending of the TA on Austria & Switzerland.
Edit: Are the mods having a laugh by changing the title to
Rugby: Scotland vs. France, result: 1-0, Wednesday 12.Sep.2007Think you'll find it's footy, not much of a Rugby game if only 1 point was scored

It would appear that we have a non sports type mod on duty, the title now says that this was a rugby match! If it was only 1:0 it must have been a dull game of rugby!

Yeah, I mean, rugby?!! I've never seen a 1-0 scoreline in a rugby game, but if boring Arsenal have a rugby team then you never know!

Ok who did actually change the title to the thread, my live in Mod says she didn't do it, Pootle is a rugby nut so would know that 0-1 is impossible in a rugby match...some canadian in england perhaps?
anyway it all looks its down to the last game which will be Italy at home. G24 can I have your babies in exchange for tickets?

Having recently awakened after what turned out to be a bit of a late night...and I have to admit I woke up thinking it had been a dream (beating France 1-0 in Paris)...I have been patiently explaining to my neighbours why there are two large flags in my garden - they have been there since Saturday morning - and what the noise was about. I ran out of beer at half time and made the fatal mistake of drinking a bottle of Federweisser during the second half to calm my nerves.
