after taking five minutes out from the Rugby World Cup, I noticed that the ICC World Twenty 20 competition had started. And would you believe it? Zimbabwe have beaten Australia by five wickets! 139-5 against 138-9. I can't remember the last time Zimbabwe posted a score so high in a 50 over match, let alone a Twenty 20.
This is why I like the 20/20 format. There is a far higher chance of causing an upset which generates interest.
The sad thing is the number of empty seats. When you think every game in England is pretty well sold out there is next to nobody at the Pakistan v Scotland game that is on now. Perhaps it's not caught the publics imagination in SA like it has in England.

or perhaps there is noone at the stadium cos the match finished a good few hours ago.
Could be although I suspect it's the highlights that Sky are showing.

I guess its easier for "lesser" teams to maintain intensity over 20 overs than it is over 50,would be good if England beat Aus and knocked them out of the tourney .ha!
