Concert: Crowded House in Cologne

Just letting people out there know that I just found out about Crowded House's gig in Koln on 18 October 2007. If you're into great old school rock, then come along - tickets at www.tickets.de

mate no worries...thought everyone should know about it! yep that sounds good if we can get a group together. I'll post another msg closer to the date, see if there's any more interest. We'll be riding our bikes there from Bonn (if it's not pouring rain), so will make for some good times!

A gig too far for me I'm afraid, with Enter Shikari on the 16th (unless I get sidetracked by Maximo Park or the Waterboys who are on the same night), then Kula Shaker on the 17th and Just Jack on the 19th and Hard Fi on the 22nd.

Mind you November is even more hectic, I went and spent a fortune on tickets for 11 gigs yesterday, five of them in th first week!

Wanted to go but then found out Travis are in Cologne the day before! So bought tickets for the latter. BUT, it could be that I can't go to Travis now ( ). So..maybe I'll get some last-minute CH tickets after all!

Know anyone who'll buy my two travis tickets at face value if I can't go?

@ isi - As for hard-fi - do you mean in Cologne? If so, I presume you'd have to go to Neumarkt U-Bahn or the Mayersche above at Neumarkt. Maybe someone else knows somewhere else - Good luck!

I have been buying my gig tickets from Galleria in Bonn or Koln - they should have them for sale in there - i managed to get Machine head and within temptation tickets! if not try Bonn ticket at the tourist information in Bonn...

I normally go to the ticket shop in Rudolfplatz. If you have a problem getting into Cologne beforehand let me know as I need to buy some more Hard-Fi tickets tonight I could get extra for you and meet outside beforehand.

There's loads coming up in Cologne I've spent a small fortune on tickets lately, but if it has to be a Friday or Saturday night it cuts the options down a bit. I've had a quick look at my list and over the next six weeks or so you have

You missed a good one last night as well, Kula Shaker were very good much better than I remembered them.

Went to Travis in E-werk last night - fu*king brilliant!!! Seen twice in Brighton, but this time topped it as was smaller and more intimate. Tonight Crowded House!

I ended up getting a VIP pass to the gig last night, I wish I hadn't bothered it was a lot of not much at all really. At one point a guy turned round to us and said "If you want to talk could you go outside and do it" rock and roll or what!

They're playing on 15/11 in Gloria.

The Crowded House Gig was totally cool . .excellent entertainment!

Mosh all you like, sing along, dance til your legs fall off, but inane chatter (not stuff like "Great song!" or whooping or something, I'm meaning gossip, shopping lists, daily blah) during a gig is distracting and just plain old rude.

Did anyone get a set-list for this concert? Saw them in Munich and it'd be nice to compare.

We were actually stood at the bar asking each other what we wanted to drink, but I take your point though and will endeavour in future to communicate only through the medium of mime.
