Anyone else in Dresden from Texas?

I'm moving to Dresden in January from Austin,TX and I was wondering if there were any cool rock bars. I went to Dresden last Christmas but didn't have too much time to explore the Neustadt much less the rest of the city.

I'm also from Austin and have not found any local Stubbs/Emos like places here... There are some decent touring bands that come through, but no regular rock music venues. Maybe some locals have suggestions, I've been going through a live music withdrawal of sorts.

I just saw Perry Ferrell at Emo's a couple of weeks ago. last show I saw at Stubb's was Alice in Chains last year. Looks like I'll have to hit the pavement and explore the city when I get there.

Hey! My son lives in Austin near the UT campus on 30th street! He was here in July...I think Neustadt is the place to go if you are looking for fun and music. He liked it.
