Hey kids, if you like juvenile teen movies, by that I mean stories about teenage kids trying to get booze and laid, then you might want to check out SuperBad. If you thought American Pie was too geeky and/or raunchy, then skip this one as it is well, far geekier and raunchier.

Its not out in Germany yet, but I wanted to put it up on your radar screens to make sure your calendars are clear for whenever this gets released. I know you law abiding lot would never illegally download your entertainment, regardless oh how asininely -if such a word exists- humorous it is.

Cheers

I saw it last time I was in the US. It is very good (I wouldn't say great though). I think the comparison to American Pie is a bit off. I’m not good enough to say what the difference, but I think Superbad is better quality comedy… and not the standard teenage targeted “OMG he’s having sex with a pie! movie. It was quite good, and quite funny.

Europeans might especially enjoy it to see a great part of growing up in America: the hunt for beer when you are underage. I’ve said this before, but its probably more fun than actually having the beer itself… though you don’t realize it at the time.

It was quite a warm film, good-natured at the centre.

I saw it. I wanted to leave the cinema until the cops appeared, but from then on I was taken aback by the vibrant humor. Funny that the guys who started writing the script when they were thirteen years old are those two actors playing the cops.

I loved this movie. Absolutely loved it. Warm and good-natured I find to be an understatement. The cops were great. I might even rent 40 year old virgin on the strength of this one. I liked it way more than American Pie.
