As the other half of the social oligarchy committee is currently sunning herself in central america it has been left to me to organise this drinking event...
Touch Muenchen is going to the fest on Thursday 4 October.
The plan is for those who can, to get to the Wies'n around 4pm (i.e. me and whoever else) to bag a table and those who have proper jobs to join us later.
I will confirm which tent we will be frequenting at a later date.
Can we have a show of hands, and rough timings (eg table bagging (I said table!), or later) for those who are coming...
Lederhosen and Dirndls are recommended.

Rich, it will be very hard to get a table on this public holiday, I presume. I've just recalled I managed to do it 2 years ago.
Anyway, I'll be joining you, guys, at 4 p.m. and helping you to make eyes at these gorgeous waitresses.
Regarding this lovely outfit you mentioned. Does anyone know where I can get the used one? I've checked prices in C&A and in some other stores. It costs 200 euros only for the pants. I'm not willing to pay 200 euros for the outfit that I'm gonna put on only twice a year: Oktoberfest ans Starkbierfest.

The wednesday is the public holiday which is why I chose the Thursday...everything's been thought of!
You'll also wear the outfit in Berlin, and I am sure you will wear it more than once at both the fests mentioned. I got mine from Skandal at Poccisstrasse for €220 including shirt, socks and shoes.

There are some 2nd hand options - there's a shop im Tal near town and also 2nd hand store on Weissenburger strasse which sells new and 2nd hand much cheaper than this. They're a must! Esoecially for a Russian!!?!
i am in but wont be down till later on...

You are right, Rich. I've mixed up the date with the independence day in America on 4th of July. It looks like I have to do some shopping in the near future.

After several drinks guys I might start stripping down or putting some female clothes on (that happened last time in Schrannenhalle, big thanks to Ann). I'm afraid next time I can lose some parts of my outfit. :-)
Colin, my russian costume has been left in some clubs and bars. That's why I decided bound myself to some simple dress that could be easily left somewhere.
should be there on the 4th, but wont be able to make it at 4pm.
