Lez Zeppelin, an all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute band from New York, are playing
at Backstage on Tuesday 20 Nov 2007. I'm intrigued. Does anyone know of them? Are they good?

Relix had a blurb on them a few months ago and gave their live show rave reviews.

Does anyone know if there are still tickets left for this show? I checked the website and couldn't tell whether it is sold out or not.

München Ticket says there will probably be tickets on the door still.

Thanks for the info. In case anyone is wondering, the show was pretty good. In my opinion they got off to a bit of a slow start but really came together well for the last two thirds of the show.

Yes, I thought they were good too. They opened with "Immigrant Song" which I thought could have been better - the lead singer's voice was loud, but still drowned out by the even louder guitar and bass, and the wailing could have been a shade more blood-curdling, but the rest of the show was great. Powerful stuff.
I tried to keep track of the set list, in case anyone's interested:
1. Immigrant Song
2. ?? (sounded familiar, but can't think what it was)
3. The Ocean
4. Since I've been loving you
5. ?? (not sure - might have been "I can't quit you baby")
6. ?? (not sure - might have been "The rain song")
7. One of Lez Zep's own compositions - rather nice, I thought
8. Bron-y-aur Stomp
9. In my time of dying
10. The Lemon Song
11. No Quarter (excellent guitar solo)
12. Kashmir
