Asian food night in Berlin

Seeing that there are a numbers of Asian here... well, I think, maybe we can do something with asian theme such as the curry night in Munich? Just wondering if anyone have interest in these stuffs?

I'm not Asian, but I would be very very interested in such an event

It has been done before and we have kind of mentioned doing it again but no one has taken up the challenge. I would be interested in a good ruby. Now we just have to decide where?

Not the Amrit on Mehringdamm strasse... food was terrible and service not so good either... i'm new here, so don't know any others yet...

By 'Asian' did you mean Indian food, or in a broader sense?

If you are willing to eat Chinese, Good Friends, on the corner of Kantstrasse and Schlueterstrasse, is very good. The only *really* good Chinese food I've eaten in Germany, in fact. Just take care to avoid the first section of the menu, which offers dumbed-down sweet and sour, chop suey type glop for those foolish enough to want such things, and instead order from the dim sum menu and the Cantonese specialties section of the menu.

I'm not Asian either but I love Indian, Chinese AND Thai food so would definitely be up for this if we can agree on a place...

Proposal: if anybody's on for a cheeky curry - maybe early-on (like 8-ish) next friday (14th) put your names down here, and we'll discuss options in the meantime. Next-time = chinese/thai/whatever.

yeah I am happy for Masala i have been there and it is nice, but i am on a massive drive to start going out in other parts of berlin so i would happily go to the one in Kruezberg also.

Lodge, that's the Amrit I was telling you was good. However, I've never been to Masala and get the impression it might be better. I'm up for either one.

The Amrit on orienburger str...is not that great..so i would be keen to give something else a go.
