Ladies' night out in Hamburg

Hi,

I've lived in Hamburg for 17 years and basically all I've ever done is work. I'm now at that midlife crisis age and would like to go out now and again with British people and meet British people. If anybody is interested in going out now and again, be it the cinema, theatre, pub, and looking for an British friend, please contact me. I always thought I was the only English person living in Hamburg as I have never met anybody else from my own country here in Hamburg. I thought it was about time I made an effort as I definitely miss our sense of humour. Thanks.

I'm not going to be much help to you, as I've got 2 kids and don't really get out too much in the evenings. However, since you're being so pro-active I didn't want your post to go unanswered, and think that I might have a good idea for you. Have you ever heard of the American Women's Club of Hamburg? They seem to have loads of events organised, and are open to any Nationality to join.
