Motorhome hire near Nuremberg - Germany

Does anyone know of a good hire place to go for a motor home? Looking to hire one for just a few days though (weekend)

Any ideas greatly appreciated please.

You'll be lucky to get anything for "a few days" at this busy time of year...

Actually, no!! I have never heard of Google and didn't just spend 1 hour trying to locate one in that way... along with Yahoo, MSN etc, funny that!! I didn't locate all the large conglomerate companies, especially the american ones where payment to hire one here or in Munich was in Dollars. I didn't just spend an hour trawling through all the crap to try to find a tried and tested "Local" one at all... how silly of me...!!!

Oh and funnilly enought I didn't do a search on TT for "Motorhome hire" first before posting... I just went right ahead and typed whatever came into my head on the Franconia thread first

So you didn't click on my Google link either then (which just to make it clear will provide you with a long list of rental companies in your area)...

Mine deutch ist nicht so gut - that must have been why entering in "RV hire/motorhome hire" etc didn't do as well yours did. I did think however why post if you can't help?, but now I know,... cheers.

Can you call them all and check for me???... Save me cycling round everyone this week and getting no where due to my crap German

I bet you can you can, at least, re-arrange the words "American" and "dumb" to form a well known phrase...

Okay, you've lost me now.. do you think I am american?? Just 'cause you're better at the german search doesn't mean I didn't try (hard) and due to my lack of success and dissapointment I reached out to my fellow TT'ers in the hope of some help and sympathy and a little hand holding to lead me in right direction (I would add "you dumb ass!!" here - but I am currently trying to sweeten you up to continue to gain success from your knowlegde and superior ability to locate my requirements,...)

I wasn't assuming your nationality - I was testing your ability to re-arrange words and identify national traits.

Re; testing ability and national traits - got confused cause it was way toooo easy, thought it was trick question.

Re; lucky to get one - busy time etc. Using my always hopeful attitude that there may have been cancellations and better a hire to me for a few days that not at all...

Any luck with the search for a site that doesn't state "7 day hire only" yet? (Not that I will let that put me off and will still contact each and every company - just incase)
