This thread comes around ever year... I started wondering what the Wies'n Hit was going to be this year and while last year it was clear it would be "54, 74, 90, 2006/10," I really have no idea this year. My friends from California came over and I told them to learn the lyrics to that song ahead of time, along with the lyrics to a few classics. They were really happy that they made the effort.
What are your predictions for the hit this year? It was sort of a bland summer music-wise (not to mention weather-wise).

I predict that whatever it is, it will suck.
If it is this, I will laugh my ass off.

This was on München TV the other night. Everyone was saying it would be that blasted Ein Stern song...almost makes me want to skip the Wiesn...almost.

I am almost certain that I have never heard this song before. I guess once I track it down and have a listen, I will realize that I have been hearing it all year and just wasn't aware of the title.. but, I have to say I am not too excited about this one. Will have to check it out after work. This is the guess I have heard most often repeated this year.
I would be happy with 54, 74... again!

Well, of the choices listed, I think "Skandal im Sperrbezirk" or "Wahnsinn/Hölle, Hölle, Hölle" are good ones- even though they're old and overplayed.

They played Ruby and Skandal last night in the Schottenhammel but neither felt like it was the Wies'n song to me.
Viva Colonia was and still is the Schottenhammel song.
