Anyone know of a cheap place that does this and what it would cost?

Or better yet, anyone here do this sort of thing that can do it at cost???
mmx
In C& A it was costing 22 euros...
wahoo
There are two seamstresses on Scheißheimerstr., corner of Görresstrasse near Josephsplatz. I know they do this, I just don't know how much it will cost.

Thing is I found the perfect dirndl at a 2nd hand shop. They wont budge on the price even though it has a broken zip. I have not bought it yet but really want it, but cant afford to buy it AND pay to put in a new zipper. It just ends up being too much money then.

Can not decide what to do dry.gif

is it the zip down the front? that'd be a bugger to do yourself. my seamstress charged 10€ to put a new zip in a skirt of mine can dig out the phone number if you're interested let me know.

Is down the front - is standard length zip for one that is just at the knee (not sure exactly and am crap at estimating lengths smile.gif )

Would love the contact if you have it.
thanks,

the seamstress place is run by a little Greek lady it's called Olympia (it's a pokey little shop with a blue and white sign) and it's on Schwanthalerstr. just up on the right hand side past Saturn and Hansa walking away from town. at the moment she's on holiday til the 31st of August.
perhaps you can buy the zip (Hertie's good) and pop along to her. cuz it's on the front of the dirndl it needs to be machine-sewed on which is really fiddly to do, she's got the right machine for it!

I am still debating to buy the dirndl or not. I am convinced that if it is meant to be, when I go back, it will be there.

Zips are pretty simple to replace if you know what to do so it shouldn't be very expensive.

there is a seamstress shop here in Bogenhausen that is currently replacing the zipper in a pair of shorts for me for 10Euro, but I bought the zipper.
There is also a person here on TT that does it in her home. Search the services and she would be alot cheaper than a shop.
