There have been some other threads on this, but here's the story:
A colleague is organizing a get-together for country managers from, well, around the world. The event is going to take place in Munich, shortly before Oktoberfest. One of the things she would like to include is a sightseeing tour (in English), but she wants to avoid the run-of-the-mill city tours.
So far the beer brewery tour and the top deck sightseeing tour were the ones I could find. Any other suggestions?
P.S.: Suggestions for other events (along the lines of a night in Welser Kuche) also welcome.

Private tours are probably your best bet. I'm a tour guide...but will probably be busy about that time.
Depending on the subject matter, I can give you phone numbers of guides with that as a specialty...so it wouldn't be that "run-of-the-mill".
This is the company I normally work for:

Isn't there that private tram you can hire?

I have a patient that does private historical walk tours and tours of the Art Museums. If that is any interest.

Dude, this is your chance to spread your wings. Within the company or on the side, put this shit together and conquer the market.

I've given church tours, beer tours, historical beer tours, historical city tours, Neuschwanstein tours, Salzburg city tours, etc.
...both private and for various companies...quite often tailored for the audience.

I have heard good reviews about
Spurwechsel, their theme tours sound very interesting and are available in English as well. Some tours are a combination of walking and biking, providing lots of movement an fresh air, and they also do "outlying" sites such as the Allianz Arena.
