Film crew all over Munich city center today

I was biking to work today at around 8am and I biked through Odeonsplatz and down Maximillianstrasse. There was massive filming taking place (for movie or TV I'm not sure) all over the place...especially on Maximillianstrasse. I biked past the Four Seasons Hotel on the same street and there was aboot 10 Police cars and 6 nice BMWs parked strategically out front. This is not normal, believe me.

Just wondered if anybody knows whats up? Who's in town? Tom Cruise? Sandra Bullock?

maybe they're filming a new episode of tatort? filming in/around munich ain't such a big deal. have seen them doing quite a bit in the english garden.

My office is in Lehel on Liebigstr in a wee courtyard behind some beautiful apartments. We often have film crews here, think it is because the apartments are so grand. Its hilarious because they set up shop in the courtyard and the crew just stand around drinking coffee and smoking all day, never seeming to do any work. They are well looked after, they even get their own catering truck!

Isn't that what work's all aboot? Drinking coffee...checking emails...drinking more coffee...washroom break...quick smoke...coffeee...etc.

Not if you are me, my tummy hates coffee with a passion. Tea is the drink of the gods!

I have a drinks machine in the basement, so almost the only options I get are helles, Wießbier, coffee from a machine (yuk !) or hot chocolate, so have to stick with the hot chocolate. If I drunk beer this early I would be asleep by 6pm.
