The annual Stadtfest in Dresden starts tomorrow evening. This is an eventful affair with music and entertainment from Hauptstrasse (Albertplatz) right through to the Altstadt.

5 stages area are being organized at: the Elbeufer, Theaterplatz, Goldener Reiter, parking area of the Kurturpalast and at Schlossplatz.

At Sclossplatz itis aways set up as a middle aged area with food and drink in accordance.

Large firework displays are planned for Sat at 22:30 for the Dampschifffest (Steamboat Festival) where the parade up and down the ELbe.

Also more fireworks on Sunday also at 22:30 to close the festival.

Al in all it is a really good and well organized laid back festival. Expect crowds as half of Saxony attends.
