Hello, I'm also looking for language schools in Cottbus (I'd like to improve my German). I've been in contact with the University there and the language department told me they only offer language classes to full time students (i.e. - you must be enrolled in a degree program). Anyone heard about other options? Thanks - tanner
Try volksashule in Potsdam, Dortustrasse.It has a really good German Language Faculty.

Tanner, Let me know if you come across somewhere in Cottbus. I am living there but really could do with some german lessons. I don't fancy a journey to Potsdam to do classes. Thanks.
Haven't you tried the Volkshochschule in Cottbus?

They list Deutsch als Fremdsprache on their list of courses. And VHS are usually the cheapest way of getting language courses. Or their staff may be able to point you in another direction.
