Hello

I moved to Dresden two weeks ago, I can’t speak any German yet
and I need some help:
Could anyone recommend a good English-speaking dentist in Dresden?

I signed up for the AOK insurance that they use at my workplace, any
advice on using it for specialized dental treatment?

Many thanks.

I don't know. I never had to go that far for any dental work I had. Hey, BTW, I'm also from the Boston area.

Hi All,

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get an appointment for a dentist in Germany.

When do the dentists reopen in Germany over the New Year.

Thanks

in general with doctors i have found there is normally a long wait 2 or 3 months for eye doctors and dentists if you want a check up. if you have a broken tooth they will normally see you right away.

If you have private insurance you can get an appointment straight away. I'm not sure how long it takes for the poor to get an appointment.

ahh i forgot to mention that. if you have private insurance then you do wait for anything sometimes i think they even pick you up at home with a basket of frech cookies too wink.gif

So can anyone actually recommend any of these then?
Do you normally have to make an appointment here in Germany?
rbrower
Yes. Make an appointment by phone.
the vicar
I can highly recommend this dentist. He can speak excellent English too.
