Hi Groovers
Goodgrief n I are planning to have a Sunday brunch / coffee meeting at 11.00am. Firstly can anyone recommend somewhere to go and secondly does anyone want to join us.
keep cool
Sandy
I'll be back by then, so I should be up for it. Kollwitzplatz is the canonical Berlin Brunch area, but I remember it being difficult to nail it down to a particular restaurant.

Kollwitzplatz places are very nice, of course, but you can't beat the Saturday and Sunday brunch at Morgenland, on Skalitzer Strasse in
Kreuzberg. Not so nice to sit out, but the brunch is amazing.

Thanks for organising, guys - it was a properly excellent day. Although, SG, you did miss the table tennis tournament by wussing out early...

And you also missed the "decorations" around the ping pong table...

It was a good day. We should definitely repeat it. Maybe even the table tennis. Though I cannot spin a the ball at either table tennis nor football, table tennis works much better for me.
I will not be in Berlin for the next 2 weekends but I am trying hard to make Thursday night drinks...

Has anyone eaten at Bangin near Senefelder Platz? They supposedly have an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet for 8 Euros, if that's the route we want to go.

Goodgrief to answer your email yes this place looks good - do you think we should book again? and what time shall we make it later say 1pm then those who over endulge the night before might still make it.

Yeah, we should probably book, and 1 pm sounds good. Does this work for those that are interested?

SG - I'll be embarassing nobody but myself with the ping-pong skills. I'm fairly sure majisa was #1 in the tournament anyhow. Not around next two weekends as back in UK but will gladly kick your ass at a sport of your choosing upon my return
Count me in as well. Which nationality of football should I bring?

To make it clearer for everyone who might like to come, it's perhaps best if someone starts a new topic. Include the updated date and venue in the title, and directions in the first post.
