The Black Rebel's are back with a cracking new album. Tickets cost 25.65€ from München Ticket. I'll be there.

Excellent, I will definitely be there. Their last concert here in Oct '05 on the back of Howl was a classic!

I will be there. Saw them last year play a gig in L.A was pretty good! Whats the venue like?

Thanks to Katrina for the heads up on this one. Just got me some tickets this morning. The newest album is "Baby 81" and I personally think it is the dogs danglies with knobs on, so as ever be there or be square people.

Saw them when they played in 2003 (coincidentally also on 28th November) and wasn't impressed.

Looks like Muenchen Ticket might be sold out? Shout me up if anyone needs tickets as I have 2 spare. Obviously just at my cost price.

Quick thread bump. I am biased but I reckon should be a good gig based on the new album.

You might check out the concert venue for tickets the night of the show. Interpol was supposedly sold out online and at the ticket shops (i.e. Mariensplatz) but we ended up buying tickets at the show that night. Not sure that is always the case, maybe we just got lucky, but worth a shot if you really want to go.

Or just PM me 'cos I still have two extras which would be more helpful :-)

€40 the pair? Cost price is €51 I think. I can see I will be waving these around in the street pretty soon :-)

I think Whatever Happened To My Rock n Roll would end up on my desert island list.

Thought that was OK. Started off really good playing loads of the new stuff and then came this horrible acoustic piano solo section, which went on way too long. After that the momentum was kind of lost a bit only saved with Whatever and Took Out a Loan.

Happily there were no costume changes or geezers in fishnets although I did start to get a bit uncomfortable when the guy with the 80's haircut came out without his jacket half way through...

I enjoyed it. But I am a slag and enjoy most gigs frankly. I agree they lost the pace a bit in the middle.

I had a great time too - though it sucks we missed the first few songs. I thought 666 conducer was amazing live, much better than on the disc - I would love to get my hands on a live recording of that one. Also, like in '05, they didn't play one of my favourites, In Like the Rose, which is strange given that it's one of the half dozen songs they made into a proper video.

Hey JE, sorry we missed you after the outland; we waited around the left corner for a few minutes, but I think you guys took the right turn.
