Weekday trip to Munich Zoo

Right then,

Well I have been thinking about this for a while and have decided to post this. Anyone up for a weekday trip to the Zoo?

It would be a nice opportunity for me to meet some of you TTers in the city and put faces to names. Singles also welcome of course, not just family stuff. Who knows a few of you single guys and girls might meet one another better there not in a smokey bar. God how I wasted time in those pubs myself on the pull when younger!

Umm, yes. Probably. I live out of town, so scheduling is usually tricky, but with the school holidays we're a bit more open. And a few outings would do the little monsters good.

Yeah, I'd be interested. These summer hols are just too long when you haven't signed the little ones up for 'feriengruppe'.

Ooo, I'd be up for the zoo. Was just there last weekend, but closed before I could find the monkeys. I've been planning to go again some weekday, when there's less people. Friday?

Well, it's looking like it's only 20% chance of rain tomorrow (Friday) so is anybody up for braving the weather and meeting at the zoo at 10am? If we assume the animals will be out, of course...I imagine the polar bear and penguins will be quite happy.

Definitely interested. The 22nd or 23rd would be good depending on the weather. We are also planning a day at Poing during the kiga vacation days.

I might be up for taking a day off work shortly and having an outing with the kids. Sometime before the 24th as I'm in England that week.

I'm defiantly there with my two little ones. I'm also up for going earlier and having a picnic.

tuesday? I think actually doable. Even though my kids are tired of the zoo (apparently the kindergarden has taken each of them about 5 times and the hort goes at least once a year) and it's not cheap, but my kids will probably leave me in the petting zoo and wander off to the playground for a few hours before they pick me up to bring me home.

Can we coordinate the lunches? A pot luck thing might actually be a lot of fun

Yes get off at U-Bahn Thalkirchen that's the U3 if I remmeber correctly and have a short walk to the main entrance. Follow the signs to "Tierpark".

Hey, I hear from my Wife that there is a huge drop in temperature expected tonight. Just hope it doesnt happen.

Today I am sorry to tell you I have a bad stomach - think i ate some crap food last night. No details but I don't feel too good. If I drink a lot of tea this afternoon then I should be better by tomorrow. Shit I really want to take the kids out and meet you people.

I have parked both my kids in tennis lessons this week, so the zoo is out for us.

Hi, I am really sorry but I am too wesk to come out today. I've been up all night with a bad tummy,god knows what caused it but I simply am not well.
